4/6/2008 Are You Nosferatu?
HWTS photo editor Stacy Schwartz gives us a small glimpse of "Massgraves", now playing in tandem with "Idigaragua" at the Bedlam Theater on Minneapolis' West Bank. Featuring music (and a bit of acting) from Kill The Vultures, "Massgraves" begins with a group of pagans trying to raise Nosferatu from the dead but is truly about the sad state of affairs currently in the U.S. There is a housing crisis, we are at war for oil and the only people benefitting are the rich, while everyone else struggles to stay afloat. "Massgraves" draws some bold conclusions, raises even more questions and makes for some excellent post-show discussion about what can or should be done to remedy these and other societal ills. In short, it's a call to arms. Catch it while you can.
