4/15/2009 Black Blondie at the Cedar Cultural Center

On a cold winter's night, Black Blondie's frontwoman Samahra warmed up the audience at the Cedar Cultural Center for the Aby Wolf CD Release on January 24, 2009 in an excellent line-up that also included Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles (who will be playing Voltage this year- next Friday already! Tickets are still available at First Ave for you procrastinators. Hope to see you there!)

Black Blondie will have their own CD release party at the Triple Rock this Friday, April 17, 2009 with M.anifest, Chastity Brown, and DJ Turtleneck.  Their new self-released album Do You Remember Who You Wanted to Be combines jazz, hip-hop, funk and soul in the way that only Black Blondie can.
