Rock stars rallied at First Avenue Wednesday night to raise money for the Twin Cities Music Community Trust, a fund designated to provide financial relief to members of the local music community who are suffering from medical problems. The first recipient of the trust money, Conrad Sverkerson, was the man of the night and rock icons dedicated songs to Conrad throughout the evening.
Sara Montour was there to capture this shot of Kraig Johnson, who played as Kraig Johnson in the Program for one song before seguing into a set with members of the Sound of Lies era Jayhawks, and then staying on stage as the band transformed again into Golden Smog.
