7/23/2007 The Alarmists' Eric Lovold tears up First Ave

Local photographer Sara Montour captured a rockin' shot of The Alarmists celebrating the release of their new full-length CD, The Ghost and the Hired Gun.  The boys crammed over 1000 flailing bodies into the mainroom at First Avenue on Friday, July 20th.  Openers included the ever-fabulous Jelloslave, White Light Riot and The Debut.  It was a wonderful showing of support for the local band whose EP was one of the most well-liked CDs of 2006.  You'll get your chance to see The Alarmists when they play a free show with the Flamin' Ohs in St. Paul's Mears Park - August 30th at 6pm.
