If you’ve had a look at The Hives Online Diary since Thursday’s First Avenue show in Minneapolis, you may have noticed a photo of a flying guitar taken by Minneapolis photographer Anita Sadler gracing the page.

HowWasTheShow was lucky enough to get permission to show you Anita’s full set of photos from that show. Sadler called the experience “truly orgasmic” and said “I couldn’t take my eyes off them, and my ears have never been happier.”
Additionally, about seeing the Hives live Sadler wrote:
“I recently encountered the rumors that the songwriter behind The Hives is actually the 6th member of the band. Not often do I play songs over and over unless I really like them. And I play the Hives songs over and over. All the Time.
The 6th member rumors may be just that – rumors started by The Hives. From what I’ve read, perhaps Nick Arson is both the 5th and the 6th member of the band and there is no Randy Fitzsimmons at all. In the big picture this doesn’t matter. When I saw the Hives perform LIVE it was a dream come true. Their stage energy is explosive!”
